Golden Rule Broadcasting, (GRB), is a 501 (c) 3 faith based non-profit corporation founded because of the growing number of unreached, isolated and neglected people in the United States and the world. Through broadcast, internet and satellite technology GRB connects the “forgotten demographic”, seniors and elderly ages 60+, to the outside world with age appropriate programs, particularly those involving music.
While most seniors experience constant losses during this stage of life, GRB brings enormous gains to their lives with music and music therapy.
GRB uniquely brings all of its programs and services directly to wherever the senior resides and thus eliminates one of the “forgotten demographics” core challenges of transportation.
GRB’s initial program area of broadcast and communication debuted The Senior Inspirational Channel in 2002 to seniors who live in long-term healthcare facilities.
Golden Rule Broadcasting’s mission is to utilize broadcast, satellite and internet communication to bring education, healing, comfort and strength to vulnerable, isolated and un-reached people both domestically and internationally. In the US, GRB targets the vulnerable senior also known as the “forgotten demographic, age 60 and older.
GRB’s vision is to reach un-reached, isolated seniors by not only offering a variety of age appropriate services through its five program areas, but to expand its program services particularly, its broadcast coverage to serve home-based seniors that are vulnerable due to age, social and/or economic limitations. These senior services positively and vastly improve both the quality of life of the elderly, as well as, the culture of the facility and/or neighborhood in which they reside.
